Isibindi Zulu Lodge is a 12 bed intimate lodge, a stone’s throw from the historical Anglo – Zulu battlefields of Rorke’s Drift and Isandlwana where Zulu and British clashed in a devastating battle which had enormous consequences for the Zulu people. The lodge also offers a choice of the authentic Zulu cultural experience.
Isibindi Game Reserve- ISibindi Zulu Lodge is situated within the 4000 acre Isibindi Eco- Reserve which offers a wide range of habitats from Montane grassland and valley thornveld to riverine forests. It is home to abundant plain game such as giraffe, Zebra and many more.
Battlefield Tours – Isibindi Zulu Lodge offers guided tour of the Anglo- Zulu Battlefields. Tours must be pre booked.
Zulu Culture and History- Isibindi Zulu Lodge also offers the rare opportunity of learning about the Zulu culture and traditions as they remain today. Zulu Boma dinners begin as the sun sets, as you are led down the narrow path you hear drum beats and come across a clearing where you will be welcomed with traditional dances. Day trips are also arranged.
