In the midst of the dry landscape on the road between Maun and Francistown is Planet Baobab. This funky Camp guarantees visitors a time of their lives, a place where cars will come to a stop for the passing elephants. Planet Baobab welcomes you to the middle of no where.

From here you can take guided day trip tours or overnight tours and get yourself close to the Meerkats, explore the local village and learn about the Botswana culture, visit the Nxai Xini Pan to seek out the ancient stone tools and fossils. In the dry season – 15th April – 31st October ) quad bike on the Makgadikgadi Pans and sleep out under the stars or do the 5 night quad bike expedition to the remote Kubu Island. In the wet season – 1st November – 15th April ) you can see the flamingos and the annual zebra and migration 35-75000 second largest to the Serengeti.
