Kakuli Bush Camp is situated at the confluence of the Luangwa and and Luwi Rivers in the South Luangwa National Park. The name of the camp derived from the numerous old buffalo which inhibit the area called the “old Kakulis “. The camp is simple with 5 tented chalets under thatch all overlooking the river. All the tents are luxurious with en-suite bathrooms open to the skies. Each room has a seating area at the front on raised wooden decks.

The game is wonderful in the area with large prides of lion and leopard sightings. For the bird lovers near the camp during September and October guests can see the Carmine bee- eaters returning to their colony.

Day and night game drives with walks in the bush are the main features of this camp.
