All year destination, Sand River Masai Mara is located on the banks of the river within the Masai Mara National Reserve, close to the Tanzania border. The camp give the ambiance of the exclusive permanent tented camp of the late 1920s. The fixtures and furnishing also mirror the period perfectly, reminding the visitors of the countless Hollywood movies that have paid homage to a classic ear of the African Safari Adventure. The camp is surrounded with exceptional game viewing with the possibility to see the lions, leopards, cheetahs and in the season the Annual Wildbeest Migration.
The Sand River Masai Mara has 16 Tented Accommodations including a family tent- each divided into two but adjoining campsites, each of which posses its own designated dining and public areas, giving exclusivity and privacy.
