At Elsa’s Kopje guests get the whole 820km2 place to themselves including the Rhino sanctuary. Meru is also the only park to allow ranger-guide bush walks. Other activities in the park include, fishing in streams, and night game drives back to the camp.
The Camp is romantically styled and sculpted into the Mughwango Hill, above the site of Goerge Adomson’s Original Camp where he raised and released orphan lions, long before conservation became fashionable.
Each cottage is crafted around the rocks, with large room, open seating areas, veranda and bathroom. The camp offers breathtaking views.
The Gold Level Eco rated 6 open plan en-suite guest cottages comprise of 5 double and 1 twin/double room, 3 Honeymoon Cottage suites, 1 Family Cottage ( 1 double and 1 Twin both en-suite ) with sitting room and veranda, Elsa’s Private House consisting of 1 double, 1 twin with sitting room and veranda and a private pool.
Elsa’s Kopje also has a Infinity swimming pool and massage facilities.
