Kuro Tarangire Camp is a place where you can walk out of the camp and feel totally as if you are in the real Wild Africa. The camp is set amid a grove of Acacia and Kigelia trees on the banks of the Tarangire River in Tarangire National Park.
The 6 light and stylish tents are complete with comfortable beds, en-suite bucket shower and eco toilet. The family tent has 2 en-suite bedrooms and adjoining sitting area.. They rest amongst the trees with the views over the African Bush. Meals are shared under the grass thatched open sided dining area. Guests can relax in the lounge area which is furnished with hides and canvas.
June to November are hot days and cool nights with high concentration if both migrant animals and huge herds of buffalo and elephants, it is also the best tome for walking safaris . December to March, the park is green and full of life.
Children over 8 years are welcome however over 12 are allowed for taking part in walking safaris.
Camp is open from June to mid March.
