Nomad founter Mkombe Mniko was a guide who cherished this area and connected strongly with children – and their parents.
Mkombes House is built around the rocks of the Kogakuria Kopje, and has a contemporary feel.
The house has 2 en-suite double and twin rooms each with a nearby secure and en-suite children’s room.
The House can sleep 4 adults and 6 Children comfortably with no minimum age restriction. There are also cots and high chars as well as car seats available on request. Baby sitting is available.
The House has a plunge pool, private dining and a large swimming pool for the hot days.
Walking safaris are available for 12 years and above, along with bush picnics and sundowners. A great time to visit is between July and October for the Mara River Crossing however the rest of the year boasts great resident game around the area. Open all year except March to End of May when the House closes for maintenance.
