Sala’s Camp first hosted guests in 2004, it has become renowned for combining an authentic safari experience with hospitality and fine dining The Tented camp combines tradition with comfort and intimate luxury. Situated in the southern, wilder corner of Kenya’s mighty Maasai Mara game reserve close to the confluence of the Sand and Keekerok Rivers.
Sala’s Camp location is close to Tanzania with wonderful views of the Serengeti National Park, it is one of the first camps in the Mara to witness the famous annual wildebeest migration, which thunders by from June to September each year.
Sala’s Camp also offers the best of the Maasai Mara’s wildlife and birdlife year round.
The spacious Camp offers comfort and great views as well as an amazing safari experience. The camp accommodates 16 guests in seven luxury tents including a spacious honeymoon tent, which can also accommodate a family of up to four.
The Interiors are elegant and comfortable. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with hot showers, running water and flushing toilets. Electricity is solar-powered and there is a standby generator for refrigeration and charging devices. Typically, after a day’s excursion, return to relax in your hammock or meet up for sundowners by the campfire before enjoying dinner served under the stars.
